Sewing Basics

Wednesdays 1-2pm

May 1- June 5 (6 classes)

This class will appeal to kids who wish to learn the basics about hand sewing and machine sewing.  We will begin with a hand sewn pillow/ornament.  Next we will make a rice bag on machines and depending how everyone is progressing we will move on to a more in-depth project. If you have specific fabric you are hoping to use, you are welcome to bring it (1/4-1/2 m should be plenty.  Something sturdy, not stretchy).  A variety of donated fabric options will be provided. No experience necessary! Suggested age: 6 and up.  If you have a younger child interested in the course, it will likely be possible with support from a parent.

Facilitated by Julie Kuipers and Olive

Cost:  $117

Please fill out registration form and we will send you a paypal invoice to your email.  No paypal account needed, simply pay with your credit card or debit card.
