Newton’s Laws: Math and Science for Teens
Topics covered: mass, acceleration, gravity, forces
April 18- June 20 (10 classes)
Facilitator: Steve Kostidis
Why do we not all just float off into space? Why do cars needs brakes to stop? How do rockets manage to get to space? While Isaac Newton may be the best person to answer these questions, Steve will have to do in his absence. This course focuses on Newton’s three laws of motion, including some fundamental elements of chemistry, math and physics. Experiments will be used to explore these 3 laws, including analysis of the results and presentation of conclusions.
