Newton’s Laws:  Math and Science for Teens

April 18- June 20 (10 classes)

Why do we not all just float off into space?  Why do cars needs brakes to stop?  How do rockets manage to get to space?  While Isaac Newton may be the best person to answer these questions, Steve will have to do in his absence.  This course focuses on Newton’s three laws of motion, including some fundamental elements of chemistry, math and physics.  Experiments will be used to explore these 3 laws, including analysis of the results and presentation of conclusions.

Steve has spent many years working the physics and math fields. Steve loves working with children, teens and adults alike.

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF CLAIMS I, the learner of legal age or parent or guardian, waive, and fully discharge WE LEARN NATURALLY from any and all claims, demands, obligations and liabilities of any kind or nature whatsoever arising from or connected, directly or indirectly, with the LEARNER’s participation in the recreation and learning program due to any cause whatsoever, including negligence, breach of contract, and breach of any statutory duty of other duty, and I accept that this release covers and includes, but is not limited to, all unknown and unforeseen claims, injuries, damages and losses, and any consequences thereof. 3. INDEMNITY I, the learner or parent or guardian, will indemnify and hold harmless WE LEARN NATURALLY from any damage, loss, liability, legal costs and other expenses that WE LEARN NATURALLY may suffer or incur by reason of any claims against WE LEARN NATURALLY arising from or connected, directly or indirectly, with the LEARNER’s participation in the activity program, including any claim based on negligence, breach of contract, and breach of statutory duty or other duty. I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE AGREEMENT THOROUGHLY AND UNDERSTAND THE TERMS OF THIS RELEASE AGREEMENT. I UNDERSTAND THAT, BY SIGNING THIS RELEASE AGREEMENT, I GIVE UP IMPORTANT LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE RIGHT TO SUE. I UNDERSTAND THAT WE LEARN NATURALLY IS RELYING UPON MY FULL RELEASE AND WAIVER OF ALL CLAIMS WHEN ALLOWING THE LEARNER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RECREATION AND LEARNING PROGRAM. □ I agree to allow Facilitators with current level C CPR and First Aid to assist my child should they become injured. □ I consent to WE LEARN NATURALLY taking NON-IDENTIFYING photographs and videos of the LEARNER and using such photographs and videos in its promotional materials.
