Bridges are everywhere and they come in all shapes and sizes. Do you know the difference between an Arch bridge and a Truss bridge? In this course, students will learn about the history and evolution of bridges, theory of bridge design, and the science involved. Each three hour lesson will be broken up into approximately one hour of theory review and two hours of hands-on application. The hands-on portion of the lessons will take place on site practicing building and testing different types of bridges with various materials.
