Clubs and Course Descriptions

Roblox Club

This is a youth-initiated club, so there is no cost to participate.  This club meets Mondays in the main floor silo from April 1st – June 10 from 3:30-5:00pm.

Designing a Permaculture Playground

This is a multi-age class running 6 weeks in total.  Kids will have the opportunity to learn the basics about permaculture, think critically about design aspects vs. costs, and take home some plantings to start their own permaculture garden.

Drama Class for Kids

No drama experience necessary, although it sure helps!  This class runs for 10 weeks beginning TBD.

Self-Directed Education Support Club

We are a member of the Alliance for Self-Directed Education and we have been waiting to have a space to offer a regular meet-up for families who wish to pursue this style of learning in all aspects of their lives. We will offer our first meeting on Monday April 8th, 3:30-5:00pm in the meeting room.

Sewing Class

This class will appeal to kids who wish to learn the basics about hand sewing and machine sewing.  No experience necessary!  

Nonviolent Communication Support for Caregivers

This course is just for the adults who wish to explore their approach to understanding feelings and needs from their loved ones.
